"Stranger Things" Season 3 has been on Netflix for a while now, and after the Battle of Starcourt, it gave fans an emotional whiplash.

With Season 4 only a few weeks away, a slew of "Stranger Things" teaser videos, teasers, and photos have piqued viewers' interest and left them wanting more.

Producers have not yet released the premise of Season 4. Although, Jim Hopper will return. He is imprisoned in Kamchatka, Russia, amid a frozen tundra.

Reports even added that Hopper would have to deal with both human and extraterrestrial foes.

Hopper's actor, David Harbour, previously told Entertainment Tonight: "We're gonna see a lot of these different threads, and also, we get to see a rebirth of him."

Deseret News, citing another Season 4 teaser, also said that the following season will dive further into Eleven's backstory and expose fans to new characters.

A new creepy angle is also surfacing in the upcoming season, something long-buried and connected to everything. That would make "Stranger Things" Season 4 the "darkest" season there's ever been.

Characters will have to deal with a more ruthless supernatural entity than in previous seasons.

According to CBR, the "Stranger Things" storyline for Season 4 will take on a more mature tone as the younger cast members have grown into teenagers.

"We can't do 'The Goonies' anymore," "Stranger Things" co-creator Ross Duffer told Netflix's Tudum publication.

Duffer also noted how the people have grown up since the show's debut in Jul. 2016.

"And so, suddenly, we're leaning much harder into that horror movie territory that we love. It was fun to make that change."

Variety also mentioned that Season 4 will start up six months after the great Starcourt Mall battle between the Hawkins kids and Mind Flayer in Season 3.

The majority of the cast from the previous three seasons of "Stranger Things" will reprise their roles in Season 4, Looper reported.

This includes stars such as:

  • Millie Bobby Brown - Eleven;
  • Finn Wolfhard - Mike Wheeler;
  • Winona Ryder - Joyce Byers;
  • Gaten Matarazzo - Dustin Henderson;
  • Caleb McLaughlin - Lucas Sinclair;
  • Natalia Dyer - Nancy Wheeler;
  • Joe Keery - Steve Harrington; and
  • Charlie Heaton - Jonathan Byers.

This entry will see new characters brought into the fold as with previous seasons. Bigger names include Robert Englund as Victor Creel and Tom Wlaschiha as Dmitri.

Aside from David Harbour reprising his role as Jim Hopper, Season 1's Martin Brenner will return to "Stranger Things," though it's unknown in what capacity.
