Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will be out of the lineup for at least four weeks after sustaining a groin injury in Sunday’s loss against the Denver Nuggets.

Booker left the contest just four minutes into the first quarter and wouldn’t return for the rest of the game. Before the Christmas Day showcase, Booker missed the previous three games due to a groin injury, it’s unknown if the two ailments are the same type or separate issues.

The 26-year-old is the third starter to go down with injury for the Suns during the first half of the season. Chris Paul missed 14 games due to a heel injury and Cameron Johnson is expected to be out another month after tearing his meniscus in November.

The All-NBA guard is having another excellent season averaging a career-high 27.1 points with 5.6 assists on .47/.37/.85 shooting splits.
