Super Saiyan God Goku revealed ahead of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" V Jump

The greatest hero in the universe just received a major makeover: for the upcoming "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" full-feature anime movie, Goku will reveal his new "Super Saiyan God" form in his battle against the new ultimate Golden Frieza.

Just like in Super Saiyan 1, Goku's hair stands on end like. However, instead of the iconic golden blonde hair, Goku's hair in "God form" turns into a striking blue flame.

Beyond "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F," the new Super Saiyan God Goku will also be a playable character in the coming "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" game or Nintendo 3DS.

The "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" release date is April 18, and will premiere in both 2D and 3D theaters across Japan. What's more, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" will also be the first Japanese film to play in 3D IMAX Digital.

There's no question that diehard Dragon Ball Z fans are eager to see the new Super Saiyan God Goku in action. According to Reports, Funimation will also host a special North American screening in Los Angeles on April 11. More english dub releases are expected to be played in North American theaters this summer.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" release date is June 11. That said, eager fans that have watched "Resurrection of F," or that go out and purchase the June Issue of V Jump will, will receive a special code that allows early access to the Nintendo 3DS game demo. What's more, the demo will feature Goku's new Super Saiyan God form.
