American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has officially been dragged into the escalating legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni , a dispute that began behind the scenes on the set of the film 'It Ends With Us' and has now exploded into courtrooms and headlines.

According to TMZ , Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, has issued a subpoena requiring Swift to testify as a witness in the case. The reason: they claim her involvement in the project went beyond what has been publicly acknowledged.

But the singer's team was quick to respond firmly. In a statement sent to TMZ, a spokesperson for Swift said:

"Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this film, was not involved in creative or casting decisions, did not compose the music, saw any cuts or make any notes, and did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release."

Their only involvement, they insist, was in allowing the use of their song "My Tears Ricochet" in the film, one of the 20 pieces featured on the soundtrack. For their team, the subpoena serves no purpose other than to use the artist's name to generate headlines and clicks:

"This legal document is designed to use Taylor Swift's name and create media hype, rather than focusing on the actual facts of the case."

However, Baldoni's side maintains another version. Sources cited by TMZ claim that Taylor approved the casting of Isabela Ferrer as the younger version of Lily Bloom, played by Blake Lively as an adult.

Another sticking point in the dispute revolves around a private meeting that took place at Lively's New York penthouse. Baldoni asserts that the actress discussed a rewritten scene there, but the meeting turned hostile. He says he felt ambushed: in addition to Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds and, later, Taylor Swift were also present.

After that meeting, Blake sent Baldoni a message in which she called herself "Khaleesi" (a reference to the Game of Thrones character) and described Taylor and Ryan as her "guardian dragons."

So far, Freedman has not responded to media attempts. However, the drama surrounding this film—which is based on the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover—has already escalated into a media storm, involving accusations, cryptic messages, and now, a pop superstar caught in the midst.

Will Swift be forced to testify? Or might she be able to maintain her distance from a conflict that appears to be intensifying daily? The plot, like the film, is far from resolved.
