“Thor: Love and Thunder” has started production in Australia although the actual plot of the upcoming Marvel flick remains up in the air. However, it seems that the fourth film will pick up from “Avengers: Endgame” with Chris Pratt (Starlord) spotted on set.

Photos of Pratt and Chris Hemsworth spread over social media with Thor seemingly back in shape. Most will recall that he had a beer belly in the last “Avengers” film. Based on the photos, he seems to have shed those excess fats away.

Seeing Pratt and Hemsworth working together hardly comes as a surprise. Recall that the God of Thunder joined the Guardians of the Galaxy before “Avengers: Endgame” came to a close. The fourth installment could likely pick up from there.

But delving into the costumes, it seems Thor was sporting an over-the-top jacket resembling the Thunderstrike Marvel character. This was the one who took on the role of Lady Thor after merging with the God of Thunder.

Aside from Pratt and Hemsworth, other cast members expected for “Thor: Love and Thunder” include Natalie Portman who will reprise her role as Jane Foster and will become the Goddess of Thunder. Christian Bale will also be part of the film, taking on the role of Gorr the God Butcher. Tessa Thompson will play Vallkyrie and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy are expected to be around as well.

With the actors and costumes now out in the open, the big question is what plot Marvel fans can look forward to. For now, the answer to that is unavailable although the costumes could hint at somethings to come.

There are plenty of things to consider like the role of Jane Foster and that of Bale. Equally worth looking out for are how Thor and Starlord will co-exist. Recall that they were not exactly the best of friends (debating on who would be the leader of the (As)Guardians of the Galaxy. But things should align, especially once they meet their nemesis. “Thor: Love and Thunder” is set to come out on May 6, 2022.
