
EA has announced the official release date for the highly-anticipated Microsoft Xbox Title "Titanfall." The Respawn Entertainment title will hit store shelves on March 11, 2014 for North America and March 14, 2014 for the U.K., for Microsoft's Xbox One and Xbox 360 plus the PC. "Since we revealed the game in June we've been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall," said Vince Zampella, a Co-Creator of Call of Duty and Co-Founder of Respawn Entertainment. "The feedback we're getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype."
EA also announced the release date for "The Sims 4" which will hit store shelves worldwide Fall 2014. The Sims Studio VP and GM Rachel Franklin praised the games loyal fans and the future of "The Sims 4" saying: "The Sims franchise has the best fans in the world and their passion and enthusiasm is at an all-time high. Those millions of voices will fuel our development process, helping The Sims 4 to be the most ambitious and the best game our studio has ever made. We can't wait to see our fans' reaction when The Sims 4 comes out in fall 2014."
Respawn describes "Titanfall" as bringing "scale, verticality, and story" to first-person shooter multiplayer gaming, incorporating elements traditionally used in single-player campaigns. In "Titanfall" Players fight in online multiplayer-only matches set on a war-torn planet as mech-style Titans and their pilots. Its action is fast-paced, including abilities to parkour wall run and hijack mechs, and extended periods between player deaths.
