'Puto' has become the most controversial word of the World Cup: the chant by the Mexican fans during 'El Tri's matches inspired a great amount of controversy as many felt it was homophobic. In fact, FIFA was even considering sanctioning the Mexican Football Federation for the use of the word. To find out what the Mexican LGBT community feels about the word, Mexican magazine 'Chilango' asked a number of participants in the Mexico City LGBT pride parade what they thought of the word.
