President Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday that Jeffrey Epstein "stole" people who worked at the spa in Mar-a-Lago, including "young women."
Speaking to press aboard Air Force One, Trump was asked to elaborate on a previous claim he made in Scotland, when he said that he fell out with the disgraced financier and abuser because he "stole people that worked" for him. He was also asked specifically if the people included "young women."
"It was the concept of taking people who worked for me was bad. There were young women in the spa. I have a great spa, one of the best in the world. And they were hired by him. Other people would come and complain. When I heard about it I told him 'I don't want you taking people, whether it is spa or not spa.' He did it again and I said 'out of here,'" Trump said.
Trump: People were taken out of the spa, hired by Epstein… I told him we don’t want you taking our people, whether it’s spa or not spa. He did it again, I said out of here.

Reporter: Was one of the stolen people Virginia Giuffre?
Trump: I think so. He stole her. pic.twitter.com/sLoDdKNasn
Trump was then asked if one of the young women hired by Epstein was Virginia Giuffre, who The Independent noted was a Mar-a-Lago pool attendant who was recruited and groomed by Epstein and associate Ghislaine Maxwell. She was raped on different occasions by him after being hired as a "masseuse."
"I think she worked at the spa. He stole her. She had no complaints about us," Trump said. Giuffre, who revealed the abuses from Epstein and accused other figures, including prince Andrew, other died by suicide in April of this year.
