Trump Epstein Files_04182025_1

President Donald Trump threatened to sue The Wall Street Journal if it published an article alleging he wrote a "bawdy" letter to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday. The outlet did so anyway.

Speaking to the Journal on Tuesday evening, Trump denied writing the letter in question or drawing a picture of a woman with the words. "This is not me. This is a fake thing. It's a fake Wall Street Journal story," he said.

"I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't draw pictures of women," he added, saying it is not his "language" or his "words." He then said he would sue the outlet "just like I sued everyone else."

The Journal claimed that inside the outline of a naked woman was a "typewritten note styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump an Epstein, written in the third person."

"Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything," the note began.

Donald: Yes, there is, but I won't tell you what it is.

Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.

Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.

Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?

Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.

Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.

Trump has not yet reacted to the story after its publishing but he has lashed out at those pressing him over the matter. On Wednesday he lashed out at those showing their discontent, calling them "PAST supporters."

He went on to claim in a lengthy social media post that Democrats are behind the SCAM behind the "Jeffrey Epstein Hoax."

"My PAST supporters have bought into this "bullshit," hook, line, and sinker. They haven't learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years. I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country's history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don't even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don't want their support anymore!"

But despite Trump's lashing out, several MAGA figure are unwilling to let the topic go. During a recent episode of his "War Room" podcast, former Trump advisor Steve Bannon predicted there will be a MAGA doomsday if the administration follows through on its decision not to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.
