President Donald Trump again threatened to go after Elon Musk as the feud between the two figures escalates again over the passing of the "big, beautiful" bill.
Speaking to press in Florida, Trump was asked if he is "concerned that Republicans are going to be swayed by Musk and his money."

Trump said no, and "what's gonna happen is DOGE is gonna look at Musk, and if DOGE looks at Musk we're gonna save a fortune." "I don't think he should be playing that game with me," Trump added.
Trump also didn't rule out deporting Musk and said earlier on Tuesday that the real reason why he is against the bill is his opposition to the elimination to subsidies for electric vehicles.
"Elon Musk knew, long before he so strongly Endorsed me for President, that I was strongly against the EV Mandate. It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one," Trump said in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.
"Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa. No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!" he added, taking a jab at the agency Musk led during the first months of the administration and sought to slash government spending.
Musk has not responded directly to Trump, but repeatedly slammed the bill, claiming it would largely increase the fiscal deficit and vowing to support politicians willing to cut spending. He has also called for the creation of a new political party in the country and said he will back Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who has also fallen out with Trump over his opposition to the bill and his decision to bomb Iran's nuclear sites.
Musk fell out with Trump earlier this month after harshly criticizing the bill. The two had a public feud on social media that escalated when Musk accused Trump of being on the "Epstein Files" related to late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Musk then said he had gone too far with his actions and deleted the publications, but the feud has again escalated as the bill gets close to being passed.
