Inquisitr has issued a report saying Katherine Russell the widow of Boston bombing terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev refuses to talk with the FBI. The report says while she is in mourning for her husband and planning his funeral Tsarnaev's wife will only communicate through her lawyer.

Katherine Russell has been under investigation since the identities of the Boston Marathon Bombers were revealed. Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother Dzhokhar were responsible for building and setting off the bombs that killed three people and wounded hundreds at the Boston Marathon on April 15.

Since Tsarnaev's wife refuses to speak her lawyer, Amato DeLuca told the Inquisitr Katherine Russell knew "nothing about the [Boston Marathon bombing] at any time. The lawyer says the family is trying to cope with the aftermath of the tragic events at the Boston Marathon.

"The whole family is a mess, to put it bluntly. They're very distraught," DeLuca told the Inquisitr. "Their lives have been unalterably changed. They're upset because of what happened, the people that were injured, that were killed. It's an awful, terrible thing."

Katherine Russell grew up in Rhode Island the Christian daughter of an ER doctor and a nurse. She graduated high school in 2007 and People Magazine says her yearbook quote mentioned she wanted to join the Peace Corps. People who knew Katherine Russell growing up and those who met her in college before Tsarnaev say she became a different person when she met Tamerlan.

Fox News reports a college classmate of Katherine Russell as saying, "I saw her like a few months ago and she was just totally transformed. She was not the same person at all."

The bright eyed young girl with a passion for learning and travel would become a college dropout, a mother and Islam convert all before the age of 21. She and her husband have a 3-year-old girl together.

Another classmate of Russell is reported to have said Tsarnaev "brain washed" her. "Nobody understands what happened to her," the unnamed friend said according to Fox News.

"None of us would have dreamed that she would marry so young or drop out of college and have a baby or convert or be part of any of what's happened...she's just not the same person at all."

Katherine Russell claims to have no prior knowledge of her husband and brother-in-law's plans to set off bombs at the Boston Marathon. Russell says she was at work most of the time and her husband stayed home and took care of their daughter.

John Miller a senior news correspondent with CBS spoke on "CBS This Morning" about Tsarnaev's wife refusing to speak with FBI. Miller is a former FBI assistant director and said he believed there is something "very skeptical" about her story.

Miller said, "What [the FBI] really want[s] to know from her is, you know, here's a woman who dated Tamerlan, who converted to Islam after they were married, who ... lived in the same apartment -- not a big apartment -- where bombs were being constructed and pressure cookers were being bought two or three at a time," Miller said. "They want to know, 'Is it possible all of this was going on concealed from you or did you know it the whole time?"
