America has spoken. The Top 10 Live Eliminations aired tonight after the live performances and the Top 8 moving on in Season 5 of "TheVoice" were revealed during the one-hour show. Scroll down to see who made it to the Top 8 and which two artists were sent home! The coaches -- Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green -- do not have a say in who moves forward in the competition anymore. The first seven artists of the night were saved by votes after last night's live performances. Of the bottom three, the final artist was saved by the new "Instant Save" Twitter vote that premiered last week. Rocker Kat Robichaud was saved last week by the "Instant Save." The night kicked off with a killer performance by Team Xtina. Carson Daly announced that he thought the performance was the best team performance they've ever had on "The Voice." Carson also announced that current rumors are true! The Maroon 5 hunk is People's Sexiest Man Of The Year indeed. The announcer whipped out the magazine cover to show proof, and he asked Adam how he felt about the honor. "I feel sexy," Adam simply responded. Team Adam's Will Champlin and James Wolpert, along with Team Cee Lo's Kat performed "Sugar, We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy. Blake also performed with his team Cole Vosbury, Ray Boudreaux and Austin Jenckes "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top. Tessanne Chin and Caroline Pennell performed Lorde's "Royals."
All three of Adam's team members and both of Christina's team members made it through to the Top 8 tonight. Last night we saw some stellar performances from all of the "The Voice" contestants, which made tonight especially hard. No one really deserved to go home. We had a couple of favorites from the perfromances last night, though. Here is our favorite from last night: 1. From Team Adam: Will Champlin performing "Love Me Again" by John Newman.
