Tonight on an all new "Once Upon a Time" Ariel heads to Storybrook looking for a magical item Rumple says will help kill Peter Pan. Ariel was not exactly happy at first when Regina summoned her to Neverland and then asked for her help. Regina and Ariel have a complicated past with Regina being the one who kept the little mermaid away from her true love, Prince Eric. When Regina tells Ariel that Eric was brought to Storybrook when the curse was enacted Ariel agrees to help.
In the promo for tonight's episode titled "Dark Hollow" we see Ariel introduce herself to Grumpy. Later we see Ariel standing with Belle who is encouraging the residents of Storybrook to work together in order to help Rumple, Regina, Emma and everyone else they love on Neverland find Henry. The clip shows the dwarves digging in the mine and then unleashing a pink mist. What exactly the mist is we do not know, but it may be the key to finding Henry and getting off Neverland.
Last week we learned that everyone on Neverland might not be leaving. David, a.k.a Prince Charming was poisoned with dream shade and very close to death. With Hook's help David was cured when he drank water from a magic spring. The catch is that once the water heals your wounds you can never leave Neverland, this is something Hook learned the hard way. Hook's brother was killed after stepping off Neverland having taken a drink from the spring. Charming told Snow White he is not going home.
The timing of Charming's confession came at a particularly bad time with Snow having just confessed she wants to have another baby. Snow was furious with Charming for lying to her. With Neal rescued from Pan we will see him in tonight's episode working alongside Emma and Hook in an effort to save Henry. Last week's was an episode of confessions including Hook telling Emma he loved her, Neal telling Emma he would fight for her and Emma telling Neal she wished news he was alive was not true.
Tonight Emma, Neal, Hook and the Charmings decide to go after Pan's shadow thinking that will be the way to defeat the never aging teenager. Pan keeps his shadow in a place called the dark hollow. In the promo we see Emma on the ground surrounded by the shadow. Neal screams her name and the promo goes dark. Meanwhile back in Storybrook Belle and Ariel run into their own troubles when an unknown man with a gun tries to hold them up in Gold's shop.
