On Sunday Nov 10 "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter and actors Katey Sagal, Theo Rossi and Kim Coates where in Asbury Park, New Jersey hosting a Hurricane Sandy Relief benefit. Sutter is a Jersey native and Rossi is from Staten Island, two places hit hardest by Sandy. Fans attending the event were treated to a special meet and great with the cast members and got a sneak peek of tonight's all new "Sons of Anarchy." Fans helped to raise $46,000 for Sandy Relief and an additional $20,000 was donated from the FX network and Fox 21.
The episode titled "Huang Wu" begins with Tara waking up to discover Jax's things are gone and that Thomas is not in his room. Panicked Tara bursts into Abel's room where Jax is standing with Thomas in his arms watching Able sleep. Jax tells Tara that he is going to stay someplace else for a while this way nobody will get hurt.
Jax tells Tara someone will be watching her and she should not try to leave Charming with his sons. At first Jax tasks the newest patch, Rat to watch over Tara but someone later suggests that a familiar face should keep an eye on Tara so she doesn't feel threatened. Juice volunteers for the job but later regrets it. With the boys dropped off at day care Tara returns home to grab a gun. Gemma walks into the house and after a reconciliation with Jax tells Tara she is there collecting a few of her grandchildren's' belongings.
Tara and Gemma exchange words with Tara reassuring Gemma she will never raise her sons. Gemma responds telling Tara that her actions are the reason Thomas and Able will not have a mother. Gemma also tells Tara it is up to her how they tell the boys their mommy left their lives. Gemma says she and Jax can tell the boys "mommy went away or mommy passed away." Tara tells Gemma the real reason she is so angry is because Gemma would have done exactly the same thing in order to protect her family.
During a Q & A session at the Hurricane Sandy event a fan asked Katey Sagal if Gemma felt threated by Tara at all. "Gemma at the end of the day is not threatened," Sagal said. The actress added that Gemma respects Tara's loyalty to her family but said Gemma is "more bemused than anything" and that she is "not really worried" about Tara being any sort of threat. Tara knows that Wendy told Gemma everything and rushes over to see her with Juice at her back.
After telling Wendy she is too cowardly to be a good mother, Tara leaves furious. As Tara starts her car Juice starts his bike. Tara throws her car in reverse and runs Juice's bike over almost crushing him at the same time. Word about Tara's hit and run gets back to Gemma, who sends Juice to the hospital to watch the boys and Unser and Nero to speak to Wendy. Unser and Nero have one of the funnier exchanges between two characters all season as they drive to Wendy's.
While all of this is going on Jax is dealing with the Irish and trying to secure a deal with an Italian crime family who is also looking to buy from a Chinese supplier. The Irish follow the Sons to the meeting with the Italians, where they Chinese have also shown up. Galen O'Shay makes a strong point to the Italians that the Irish are the only gun runners in California. By killing a few of the Chinese suppliers in front of the Sons and the Italians the Irish have secured their business.
The Chinese gun suppliers are looking for revenge and believe the Sons were a part of the plan to kill their members. Jax tries to explain that the MC had nothing to do with Galen's plan. The Chinese gang wants O'Shay dead and gone so they can be the only gun supplier in Northern California. Jax says he'll try and the Chinese take Happy as insurance Jax will get the job done. Jax and the club return to the whore house they are running where Jax and the Madame head upstairs.
Back at the hospital Tara runs into Juice who is furious and tells her is keeping an eye on the boys at the request of their grandmother. Tara demands to know where Jax is and after calling Juice an a**hole he decides to tell her exactly where Jax is. Tara busts in on Jax and the Madame having sex. Tara rips the woman off Jax and starts to beat her. Jax pulls Tara off the woman and she runs out with Jax in pursuit. Tara begins to freak out asking Jax what he turned her into and what had she become?
Realizing she is out of options Tara makes a decision that could very easily get her a bullet to the head. She goes to the D.A and tells her she wants a deal, witness protection for her boys and in exchange will give the prosecution anything she wants. Reluctantly the D.A tells Tara she cannot make that deal.
In case you forgot Jax already made a deal with the D.A to give up Galen in exchange for immunity and Tara not getting jail time. Defeated and alone Tara walks out of the D.A's office with the understanding that she is in deep and no one can help her. The episode ends with Tara alone in her care and Jax putting his boys to bed.
