The White House may want to brush up on its "Star Wars" lore.

On Sunday, May 4th, colloquially referred to as "Star Wars Day," the White House shared an AI-generated image on X of President Donald Trump with a lightsaber.

The post commemorated the informal holiday while bashing the "Radical Left Lunatics," which it compared to the villainous "Empire" in "Star Wars."

"Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You're not the Rebellion—you're the Empire. May the 4th be with you," the White House wrote.

However, X users were quick to point out that Trump was holding a red lightsaber, which is used by the franchise's evil Sith Lords.

"You know that's the bad guys right?" one user remarked.

"How do you not have one nerd on staff to tell you what color lightsaber is good and what color is bad???" another user wrote.

"Y'all realize that the Sith Lords that you are bringing down use EXCLUSIVELY red lightsabers, right?" wrote another.

Another user screenshotted an explanation of red lightsabers, showing they "represent power, ambition, aggression, and the desire for control, often associated with negative emotions like anger and hate."

The image comes just a day after the White House was publicly denounced by clergy and laypeople for sharing an AI-generated image of Trump as pope.
