Why Prince Harry Was Accused Of Being ‘Jealous’ Of Prince William And Kate Middleton

Prince Harry was said to have been jealous of Prince William and Kate Middleton for a very long time. But the reason behind his enviousness is quite surprising.

While speaking with Yahoo’s “The Royal Box,” Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, said that for a long time, Prince Harry had looked at Prince William and envied him. Burrell’s statement is in reference to Prince William having a partner like Kate.

“And now he has it, so it’s the beginning of the future for Harry,” Burrell said. Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018.

After the couple tied the knot, several changes have been put in place. Initially, the Duke of Sussex was part of the Royal Foundation, an organization that he and Prince William put up in 2009.

Kate also joined the foundation two years later after she wed the Duke of Cambridge. Meghan also became part of the foundation for a couple of months after she wed Prince Harry. But last month, it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer be part of the Royal Foundation and that Prince William and Kate will continue to handle the organization.

The royal siblings’ split has been linked to the ongoing rumors that they are feuding with each other. But Burrell said that their decision to go their separate ways shouldn’t be interpreted to mean that they don’t have a strong relationship.

“I don’t think that anything will ever split those boys, I think their mother’s death cemented them together forever,” he said. “Until their mother’s death, they were very individual boys, now I think they are very close. Of course, Harry always wanted a family, now he has one, there’s every reason to think the two families will come together.”

And on July 10, Prince William and Prince Harry will indeed come together. The royal siblings will participate in a polo match at the Billingbear Park in Berkshire. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not the royal siblings will be part of the same team. It is also unclear if Kate and Meghan will attend the tournament to support their husbands.
