Nicky Jam is all the rage in the Latin industry, but he will soon show the whole world what he is about when he makes his acting debut in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

Earlier this year, in March, it was announced that the 35-year-old Puerto Rican singer would be part of the action-packed sequel's cast starring Vin Diesel. “My dream came true. I want to say thank you to my people, for bringing me here and thank you @vindiesel I’ll see you in the movie,” the performer wrote on Instagram.

Paramount Pictures also revealed that Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutiérrez is also jumping on board the project.

During the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Conference in April, Jam revealed that he would make his debut on the big screen in a movie with Diesel. He also spilled the beans on his role, saying his character is the owner of an island. He later changed the subject, sharing the anecdote that the "Fast & Furious" actor wanted to record a song with him.

Joining Diesel and Jam in the movie is a star-studded cast, including Donnie Yen, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Brazilian soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, and more.
