Zayn Malik is officially the most lusted-after male Hollywood star today. Instagram page The Most Beautiful List has crowned Malik as the Most Handsome Man of 2019, beating off former band mate and tough contender Liam Payne.

Each year, The Most Beautiful List compiles a list of the most attractive male and female stars in the world. The page currently has more than 67,000 followers. It bases its annual lists on fan votes.

On Sunday, the page announced that Malik is this year’s Most Handsome Man by sharing a photo of the former One Direction member. “Congratulations Zayn Malik of the United Kingdom,” the photo was captioned. “You are the most handsome man of 2019.”

Several fans were thrilled by the announcement, with One Directioners flooding the Instagram post with congratulatory messages for their idol. “God he is perfect,” one fan wrote. “That is what my baby deserves,” another fan wrote.

Malik was not the only One Direction member who made it to the Top 100 List. Payne also nabbed the 79th spot, while Harry Styles made it to the 39th spot. Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan did not make it to the list.

Meanwhile, Malik recently made headlines after his rumored ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, liked his mother’s Instagram post on his new rendition of “Aladdin’s” “A Whole New World.” The male singer released his beautiful rendition of the Disney classic with budding singer Zhavia Ward, and it was quick to capture the hearts of many fans. Eagle-eyed fans were also quick to notice Hadid, who liked Malik’s mom’s Instagram post about the new song.

The One Direction singer and the 23-year-old supermodel have been in an on-and-off romance for years. Although the story is not clear as to why their relationship ended in early 2018, Hadid has remained supportive of Malik’s career. Last January, there were rumors that the two got back together, but the reunion was reportedly short-lived.

Malik is the new voice of “Aladdin’s” soundtrack “A Whole New World.” The live-action remake of the classic film is set for release later this year.
