A 23-year-old man who was caught on video with a woman on her knees at the Liverpool city center finally appeared before the Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
The man, identified as Joe Firby, pleaded guilty to committing an act of outraging public decency after being filmed engaged in a sex act, the ECHO reported.
This comes not long after the woman, identified as Kelly Cousins, was handed a suspended prison sentence and community service after pleading guilty to being on her knees on the night of August 1.
The 35-year-old OnlyFans model found herself in a heap of trouble after she shared a video showing her and Firby engaging in a sex act in front of other people at a nightclub at Liverpool’s concert square.
In the video, Cousins could be seen on her knees, engaging the 23-year-old man in sexual activity with people laughing as they watched the indecent act done in public.
The incident happened at the entrance of Concert Square's Einstein Bier Haus, a packed beer tent.
“I deeply regret it - I have always taken responsibility for my actions and I now just want to make a new start and put this all behind me,” Cousins said.
When the video spread online, Mayor Joanne Anderson was livid and branded the behavior as damaging and criminal.
It was added that Firby and Cousins met at a gym before they went to the nightclub where they apparently had a heavy drinking session. This led to the two becoming overly intimate, an act that shocked a lot of onlookers and those who saw the explicit video on social media.
The appearance of Firby took some time with the 23-year-old reportedly struggling to appear before the Liverpool Magistrate Court because he could not afford to travel. Firby apparently lost his job.
But somehow, Firby was able to find a way to appear before the court and plead guilty to committing an act of outraging public decency. He is set to be sentenced in the new year.
