Angelina Jolie Getting Back At Brad Pitt Through Maddox? Here’s Why A Report Says So

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might have decided to call it quits in 2016, but they still can’t escape being the subject of rumors to this day. The latest buzz is that the “Maleficent” star might be using their eldest child to get back at her ex-husband.

Maddox is currently in Seoul, South Korea, to study college at the Yonsei University. Surprisingly, Pitt and Jolie’s eldest son opened up when a reporter approached him for an interview even if the topic veered toward subject matters that are a bit sensitive, considering the ongoing divorce and custody battle between his parents.

The student even gamely answered a few questions about his relationship with his father, according to Page Six. “Um, I don’t know about that … what’s happening [with that],” was the youngster’s reply when asked when his father would be visiting him. “Whatever happens, happens,” Maddox answered when the reporter asked if his relationship with Pitt is over for good.

The publication noted that Maddox has had a strained relationship with Pitt since they fought while onboard a private jet in 2016. Seen in this light, it’s easy to see why the child’s responses to questions related to his father is lukewarm at best.

But according to the publication, some insiders think that the entire interview was staged. What’s even more surprising is that they also suspect that Jolie might be behind the entire thing.

“Maddox seemed prepared for the interview,” Page Six quoted an unnamed source. “He wasn’t trying to fend off the interviewer — so people in the industry think maybe it’s an effort by Jolie’s camp to stir things up, even though things have been relatively calm.”

Some fans who read the report believe that it’s possible that Jolie might actually be using Maddox to get back at Pitt. What’s even more interesting is that they also felt that the “Tomb Raider” star is a bit ungrateful, considering what her ex-husband did for her.

“He helped her career,” an unnamed guest commented on a Female First discussion. “Cleaned up her image. Was there thru all her surgeries. She had two suicide attempts. Anorexia. This is what she does. Her career is over.”

Meanwhile, another reader is pretty certain that the report must be accurate but does not believe that clever might be the right word to describe what Jolie allegedly did. “All true about Jolie also and it is shameful that Jolie is pushing Maddox against Pitt, one should never stoop to that low and there is nothing ‘clever’ about it,” the guest wrote.
