A Russian man is accused of throwing a sex worker off a 25-ft high window after she failed to please him with her skills.

The alleged incident took place on April 16, in Russia's south-western Kaluga region.

The suspect, a 28-year-old man, identified only as Alexsandr, reportedly demanded a refund after the 24-year-old woman, who he had hired to please him sexually, failed to do so.

He asked the woman to return half of the money that he had given her, saying, "her skills did not meet his expectations."

The woman then reportedly pulled out the whole money from her handbag and threw it at his face.

Agitated by her retaliation, the suspect allegedly threw the woman off the 25ft high window. Police were alerted after neighbors heard the screaming woman.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. She was treated for fractures to her right leg and also for vertebral compression fractures. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, hospital officials said. She is expected to recover soon.

The victim was reported to be a Kenyan citizen, according to police. The suspect was immediately identified and taken into custody.

"The suspect was identified in no time. A criminal case on attempted murder has been initiated," a spokesperson for Russia’s Investigative Committee said, the DailyStarUK reported.

During interrogation, he confessed to having pushed the woman but told that she "accidentally" fell out of the window. "He did not intend to hurt or kill the victim," police said.

In a police video, shared by 360TV, the suspect is heard saying, "I demanded half of my money back after she provided me with her service."

"She grabbed the cash and threw it right into my face."

"I pushed her in the chest and she [accidentally] fell out of the window," the suspect said.

The suspect is now facing charges of attempt to murder. He could be sentenced to 15 years behind bars if convicted.

In a similar incident, a woman is seeking a divorce from her husband who became an escort. The 27-year-old former call center employee lost his job due to the pandemic and to earn money, signed up to be a male escort.

The woman managed to hack into her husband's laptop and found a hidden folder containing numerous nude photos of him and selfies of semi-naked women, reportedly his clients.
