More casting information has come out about Marvel’s upcoming film “Ant-Man.” We already know that Paul Rudd is set to play Scott Lang (Ant-Man), not to be confused with Michael Douglas’ Henry Pym (Ant-Man).
According to Deadline, Matt Gerald will come in as a villain for director Edgar Wright's “Ant-Man” movie. The website gives little details saying, “Gerald will play one of the bad guys.” He recently wrapped “Solace” with Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell, and his credits include “Avatar,” “Escape Plan,” “Dexter” and “Hawaii Five-O.” He is repped by APA and Benderspink.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Evangeline Lilly is probably going to be in the film. We also know that there's some good supporting talent in Cory Stoll and Patrick Wilson, while we don’t know the capacity of their roles in “Ant-Man.”
“Ant-Man” is set to be released next summer, July 17, 2015.
