The CW series "Arrow" returns for Episode 6 of Season 2 on Wednesday night, November 13th, when "Keep Your Enemies Closer" airs at 8pm EST and 7pm Central. Billionaire playboy Oliver Queen has returned home to Starling City after being shipwrecked on a remote island for five years and, shaken by his experiences, creates the vigilante persona of Arrow to right the wrongs of his family and society at large. According to TV Equals' summary of tonight's episode, Amanda Waller will "send A.R.G.U.S. agents to kidnap Diggle (David Ramsey). Waller informs Diggle that Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) has gone missing after following a lead on Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) in Moscow. When Diggle tells the team he's headed to Russia to rescue Lyla, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to join, but things get messy when Isabel (guest star Summer Glau) shows up on the tarmac and insists on joining Oliver's "work trip." Meanwhile, Moira's (Susanna Thompson) lawyer, Jean (guest star Teryl Rothery), tells Thea (Willa Holland) that dating Roy (Colton Haynes), a known criminal, is hurting her mother's case."

The CW series is based, of course, on the Green Arrow comic. But IGN writes that the show has "built an interesting mythology" of its own around Oliver Queen and Starling City which has made it especially captivating in Season 2. "Season 1 only scratched the surface of what the island flashbacks have to offer, and Season 2 has quickly raised the bar by shifting Ollie from the island to the cargo ship Amazo," writes IGN. "The conflict with Merlyn that dominated Season 1 has shifted into a battle with the League of Assassins, of whom Merlyn was merely one agent. Even Moira Queen's secrets seems to be mere cloaks for even deeper and darker conspiracies."

The new episode, "Keep Your Enemies Closer", was directed by Guy Bee and written by both Ben Sokolowski and Beth Schwartz.
