A fan art has brought back Ben Affleck as the Batman. After the actor’s take of the character didn’t resonate with the fans, a new picture explored what the actor would look like in a Flashpoint version of the character.

Affleck first took on the role of the Caped Crusader in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which got some mixed reviews. The actor got to play the role in “Justice League,” and this became his last portrayal of the character.

While Affleck’s Batman didn’t work, there is little doubt among his fans about his acting capabilities. Was there a different storyline of the Dark Knight that could have worked?

Keeping this question in mind, digital artist Hasan Kazi has given Affleck the look of the Flashpoint comics in the fan art he shared on Instagram. The red hues in the costume and the eyes of the character along with the red background with the symbol of the character and a blood moon give this version of the Dark Knight anti-hero vibe that the fans love.

The Flashpoint is a crossover story that was released by DC Comics in 2011. While most of the other superheroes like Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg appear in this comics series, the lead of the story was the Flash, who was the only one who was aware about the difference in the altered timeline. Superman took a back seat in this story as a captive by the US government.

Affleck may have improved his chances of being loved by the fans as the Flashpoint Batman. The actor, however, may not be inclined to return to the role.

Affleck previously appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to confirm that he is no longer the Batman. The actor also got to “retire” his Dark Knight cape on the show as a symbol of him letting someone else take on the role.
