While rumors about Jolie’s dating life after her split from Pitt aren’t new, a repot has taken it to another level by claiming that the actress is in a relationship with Pfeiffer. Quoting an anonymous “source,” the tabloid stated that the “Maleficent” star is “swooning for” Pfeiffer and that she is very serious about the relationship.
While the fans may not be waiting with bated breath for Jolie to get engaged to Pfeiffer, the rumor has been debunked by Gossip Cop. What the rumor didn’t take into consideration is that Pfeiffer is happily married to producer David E. Kelley for the past two and a half decades, and they have a strong relationship with no signs of a break up.
What appears to have happened is that someone in the tabloid that ran the rumor read an interview about Jolie having a crush on Pfeiffer after watching her in “Grease 2.” Although she didn’t say anything about wanting to date Pfeiffer, the tabloid took the story and ran what is apparently a fake story.
A source close to Jolie also confirmed that there is no truth to the rumor. The insider went to the extent of calling the claim of the actress being romantically involved with Pfeiffer as “ridiculous.”
Jolie is currently not linked to anyone, and she is focused on her career and raising her kids. In a recent interview with The Sun, the actress spoke about how the last few years have been difficult for her after she split from Pitt. She managed to deal with the challenges thanks to the support she got from her children, and she appears to be in a good place now.
