It appears we will meet Howard's (Simon Helberg) brother in episode 20 of the CBS hit-comedy "The Big Bang Theory." Well, his half-brother anyway. According to reports Matt Bennett has signed on to guest star as Howard's half-bro, Josh. The episode is titled "The Fortification Implementation" and is set to air April 9.

According to Hollywood Reporter Bennett is scheduled to only appear in one episode. It had been mentioned before that Howard’s father had abandoned him and his mother when he was eleven-years-old. The half-brother is the son of Howard’s father. Spoilers leaked online have revealed Howard will be surprised to find out that he has a brother when Josh shows up unexpectedly at his place. The spoilers also reveal that Howard has inherited his mother’s house, as his father signed it over to him through an attorney.

These leaked spoilers also revealed a lot about Bennett's character. Josh is a student of oceanography in San Diego. He, too, hates his father, as he had abandoned him and his family, as well. Also, it looks like he is quite like Howard when it comes to thinking about sex. The spoilers reveal that Josh wants to play catch but Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) tells him to wait while Howard suggests that he can use the robot arm for that. Josh thinks that Howard is suggesting it for sex. Just know the robot arm Howard created in one of the previous seasons will come into play in episode 20.

Josh is arriving in Howard's life soon after the death of his mom, Debbie Wolowitz (Carol Ann Susi). The character, who was never shown on scree, died in her sleep at her sisters house in Florida. The character was killed off because Susi, who voiced Debbie, lost her battle with cancer last year. Episode 18 "The Leftover Thermalization," seen the group having the final dinner Ms. Wolowitz cooked at her place.
