Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are back in the limelight with rumors alleging that the two have gotten back together. Pitt has been on and off the news because of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, while Aniston has been single ever since her split from Justin Theroux in 2017. Just yesterday, rumors on the ex-partners emerged, saying that the two met in Mexico for a sweet time together.

According to Australian weekly magazine New Idea, the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star went to Mexico not only to attend the film premiere of his movie but also to spend time with his ex-wife. Cabo San Lucas — the resort city where the two allegedly met up — holds a special place in Aniston’s heart as it holds many fond memories of her marriage with Pitt, New Idea’s source claimed.

“Jen is always in the mood for Mexico, it’s her favourite place, so she was more than happy to meet Brad there,” said the source. “Brad and Jen had an amazing getaway in Mexico and it really brought back lots of special memories,” he continued.

The publication further claimed that the reunited ex-couple had a very romantic time, with “couples’ massages” and spending “long days in the sun and long nights drinking wine and enjoying each other.” “There were a lot of reasons for them to celebrate — not just because they’re back on top in Hollywood but because they’re together and they’re happy in love after years of heartache and upheaval. Life’s never looked so good for Brad and Jen,” further claimed the source.

As exciting as this news is for all the Pitt-Aniston fans, unfortunately the narrative spun by New Idea is a complete sham. Gossip Cop — a website that “polices” online celebrity gossip — has proven that Pitt and Aniston are not back together and that the “hookup” in Mexico didn’t happen. The rumor-disproving publication contacted Aniston’s spokesperson, who outright denied the claims, calling the whole situation a “fabrication.”

The former supercouple has been repeatedly rumored to have gotten back together, time and time again bringing them in the forefront with stories of getaways in foreign lands and getting married in secret. Unfortunately, for the time being at least, the two are not getting back together — and may not be anytime soon.
