It’s been ages since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston worked together on a project. In fact, the only time that the ex-couple appeared was in a Thanksgiving episode of “Friends” in 2001.

But if a recent report is correct, Pitt and Aniston might be reunited once more — well, career-wise that is. An article by the UK-based Heat magazine claims that the actors are currently in talks, exploring the possibility of working together, according to Gossip Cop.

Heat reported that Pitt and Aniston already met to discuss the matter at the San Vicente Bungalows, a members-only no-camera phone club in West Hollywood that caters to actors, music execs and music legends. “It’s a favorite place for a lot of A-listers because they can slip in and out without getting noticed, and [Aniston] is meeting Brad there lately,” Heat quoted an unnamed source.

Back in 2001, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Grey put up the production company Plan B Entertainment. While Aniston later opted out of the firm when she and Pitt divorced, the tipster claimed that the actress wants to join the company once more.

Aniston has reportedly been giving Pitt a few recommendations for film material. “Jen is an avid reader and has been telling Brad all about the books she thinks would make great films,” the insider revealed.

And Pitt is getting increasingly convinced that his ex-wife would make a great addition to the team. “He’s really missed having her intellect involved in the production company,” the unnamed source said. “It was her idea to turn The Time Traveler’s Wife into a movie back when they were still married, which ended up doing great business for the company,” he added.

However, Gossip Cop became suspicious of the story because it already exposed a few false narratives from the magazine. For instance, Heat previously reported that Pitt and Aniston will star in a romantic comedy, which was later debunked by the fact-checking site.

The site also got in touch with Aniston’s camp to confirm the report. “There are no projects that Jennifer is considering with Brad,” the actress’ rep said, which basically debunked the story.
