Following reports that Brad Pitt is dating again after his new single status, a source has revealed that the actor is still more focused on co-parenting his six children than on dating. While it is true that Pitt is currently going on casual dates, the actor has no plan whatsoever to be romantically involved with anyone right now as he wants to focus on being a dad.

On Friday, a judge ruled that Pitt and Angelina Jolie could go back to being legally single again ahead of their divorce settlement. A source revealed earlier this week that both Pitt and Jolie are now at peace with each other and can talk about their issues with less drama.

Now a new source has revealed that while Pitt is up to dating again, he seems happier to focus on himself and their kids. “Both parents are focused on what’s best for the kids,” the source said, adding that he is doing the best he can to work with Jolie when it comes to raising their kids.

“They’ve both decided to try and put their differences aside and to do whatever they can to raise the kids in the healthiest environment possible,” the source said. “Anger and spite has finally started to take a backseat and they’re figuring things out.”

According to the source, it helped that both Pitt and Jolie were willing to come to the table and to talk things through. Despite how their marriage turned out, Pitt has never lost his desire to build a good relationship with their kids. That is why even though he is moving forward with his life dating new women, he makes sure his children are still his priority.

E! also noted that there is no truth in reports that Pitt is planning to work it out with Jolie and that it is the reason why the divorce settlement is taking too long. For their marriage to be technically over, they still need to iron out the custody of their children and other financial issues.

While divorce proceedings are ongoing, Pitt and Jolie are busy with their children and work. Pitt is set to star in “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” with Leonardo DiCaprio, while Jolie’s “Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil” is hitting theaters in October.
