Brittney Griner is finally back in the United States after being detained in Russia for 294 days and in her first workout in nearly 10 months, dunked. The workout was considered to be a light one. Still, her future in the WNBA remains uncertain.

Griner’s agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas told ESPN that she is “doing really well” and that Griner isn’t ready to say whether or not she plans to return to the WNBA. Colas said Nike sent Griner a wardrobe to wear as the only clothes she had were the few clothes she had in Russia.

Griner has yet to comment publicly since her return and has been spending time with her wife and family. She also recently got a haircut from the San Antonio Spurs’ barber, which comes after she elected to get a haircut two weeks ago due to her long hair freezing in the cold of Russia.

Brittney Griner has had an illustrious career in the WNBA. She has won a WNBA championship, is an 8x all-star, and is a 2x scoring champion. She has spent her entire career with the Phoenix Mercury
