‘Chicago Fire’ Season 7 Episode 17 Teases Possible Common Room Makeover

The fact that “Chicago Fire” Season 7 episode 17 is not yet airing on NBC should not worry fans too much. The show’s Twitter account already confirmed that the upcoming episode, which is titled “Move A Wall,” will be aired on March 27.

It’s not that unusual for a show to take a breather for a couple of weeks to give its writers, cast and crew enough time to prepare. For instance, there is a five-week gap between this season’s Episode 9, which aired on Dec. 5, 2018, and Episode 10, which aired on Jan. 9, 2019.

And for those entertaining a few thoughts about the possibility of the show being canceled, the answer is no. In fact, the show has already been renewed for a Season 8, which means that the fans should be worry free in that area for another year or so.

Meanwhile, a few details on episode 17 have already been released to give fans something to chew on during the long wait. In “Move A Wall,” Captain Casey will butt heads with Engine 51’s Christopher Herrmann. The conflict will arise after the two respond to a fire emergency.

Another exciting event to look forward to is the different reactions that each member will have upon seeing the new design of their station’s common room. Yes, it is highly likely that the room will experience an artistic makeover, thanks to Herrmann’s wife, who will put her interior design skills to work. But whether or not her artistic touch will be appreciated by some of the more traditional members of the team, like Mouch, remains to be seen.

“Tensions run high between Casey and Herrmann after the firehouse responds to an apartment complex fire,” the synopsis reads. “After discovering something extremely suspicious during the call, Kidd and Severide do some investigating and get CPD on the case. Brett struggles to deal with her emotions while Herrmann’s wife, Cindy, hopes to get her interior design business on track by taking a stab at redoing the common room.”

“Chicago Fire” Season 7 Episode 17 is scheduled to air on March 27 on NBC from 9pm to 10 pm. Stay tuned for more updates on your favorite TV shows.
