As the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins due to a prop gun malfunction continues to be investigated by authorities, Donald Trump Jr. has taken to selling shocking t-shirts mocking the death and Alec Baldwin’s involvement in the matter.

The t-shirts, which read “Guns Don’t Kill People, Alec Baldwin Kills People,” were being sold on Trump Jr.’s merchandise site over three days after the incident was first reported. The shirt was advertised on Instagram by Trump Jr. as well, according to the Detroit News.

A storm of criticism has come to Trump Jr. due to the shirt mocking the death of Halyna Hutchins, who was accidentally killed when a prop gun that Alec Baldwin was holding fired during rehearsals for a scene in the movie set of “Rust,” The Daily Beast reported.

The gun was believed by Baldwin to be unloaded at the time, with the assistant director reportedly declaring it a “cold gun.” It was later found that the gun unknowingly contained live rounds before being used, according to the Associated Press.

However, Trump Jr. remains unfazed by the condemnation and the seriousness of the death, saying that the mockery that Baldwin is receiving from the t-shirt and the tragedy is deserved, pointing to how he mocked his father Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live" during his presidency.

“Screw all the sanctimony I’m seeing out there. If the shoe was on the other foot Alex [sic] Baldwin would literally be the first person pissing on everybody’s grave trying to make a point. F**k him!” Trump Jr. said in an Instagram post regarding the incident.

Trump Jr. is not the only conservative who is mocking the incident: Conservative author and talk show host Candace Owens has accused Baldwin of the murder of an innocent person and called the killing “poetic justice” due to his role in mocking Donald Trump.

J.D. Vance, the author of "Hillbilly Elegy" and possible Republican Senate candidate in Ohio, also tweeted “Dear @jack let Trump back on. We need Alec Baldwin tweets,” which Tim Ryan, the possible Democratic candidate for the same Senate seat, replied, “Someone died, you a**hole.”
