Elderly Couple Caught Having Sex In Bar Bathroom, Resists Police Arrest

An elderly couple caught having sex in the toilet of a Florida bar before Christmas tussled with cops while being arrested. 62-year-old Debra Vogt and her companion, 60-year-old George O’Brien, were reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.

According to Daily Star, customers of Jimmy B’s Beach Bar in St. Pete Beach, Florida complained to the staff after catching Vogt and O’Brien romping and having sexual intercourse inside the bathroom of the bar. When the security asked the tipsy couple to leave the premises, they refused.

The staff reportedly called the police after the couple continued having sex in the toilets. When the authorities arrived and asked them to reveal their identities, Vogt and O’Brien again refused and even ended up brawling with the cops. Vogt even took a swing at one of the police officers during the arrest.

“Numerous subjects complained about the couple being in the restroom and complained to security staff,” the arrest affidavit stated.

“Vogt and O’Brien were heavily intoxicated and denied the allegation,” the affidavit continued.

After the scuffle, Vogt and O’Brien finally revealed their identities and the police arrested the couple and charged them with trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. The authorities also separately charged Vogt with assault for hitting one of the officers during their arrest.

O’Brien, a resident of St. Petersburg, was released from jail on his own recognizance on Sunday morning, while Gulfport resident Vogt was released after posting a bond of $600. The judge who handled their case also ordered the duo to refrain from re-entering Jimmy B’s Beach Bar ever again.

Jimmy B’s Beach Bar is one of the most visited bars in Florida. Last year, the bar was ranked as the third best beach bar in the state. It also snagged the title of Best Florida Beach Bar six times in the past.

Meanwhile, the police released a mugshot of the pair smirking on the night of their arrest. Neither Vogt nor O’Brien released a statement about the incident following their release. It also remains unknown if they are regular customers of the bar where they were caught having sex.
