Fernanda Castillo
The "El Señor De Los Cielos" stars return with new characters and a new story that will surely trap you from the beginning. Telemundo

Fernanda Castillo is set to return to Telemundo with "Enemigo Íntimo" following the death of her character Mónica Robles from "El Señor De Los Cielos". This new series will have another familiar face from the "El Señor De Los Cielos" world as Raúl Méndez, who played Chacorta, will also star in fast-paced, action-packed production full of intrigue, enigma, mysterious and revenge.

Cast of "Enemigo Íntimo" also include Matías Novoa, Rafael Sánchez Navarro, Guillermo Quintanilla, Samadhi Zendejas, Diego Soldano, Otto Sirgo, Alex Speitzer, María del Carmen Felix, Mayra Rojas, Alpha Acosta, Armando Hernández, Iván Aragón, Tomás Rojas, Elvira Monsell, Mónica Jiménez, Leonardo Daniel, Valentina Acosta, Miguel Moreno, Rafael Nieves, Alan Ciangherotti, among others. Production of "Enemigo Íntimo" has already begun in Zurich, Switzerland, Mexico and USA border towns.

Fernanda Castillo is set to play Roxana Rodiles, a beautiful young woman who has managed to develop a range of characteristics: skillful, with an intelligence that can border on brilliance, impetuous at times and in others, achieving a single cause that allows her to overcome the problems and conflicts she faces. Seemingly naïve but really quite sure of herself, supposedly weak but in fact strong, she is enigmatic, passionate, and intelligent, with a past that no one is able to decipher.  This ambiguity allows Roxana to conceal the whole truth about herself and leads others to make many assumptions, all of them wrong.

Raúl Méndez will play Alejandro Ferrer, a captain of the Federal Police, a man who has lost what he loved most in life – from his parents to his best friends – to the criminal cartels.  He is a brilliant tactician, strong-willed, persistent and brutal when dealing with his enemies. His courage often works in his favor, but it can also verge on the irresponsible.  Alejandro lives for his work and has almost no personal life.  It’s never clear whether he is a man who pursues justice at all costs and is willing to be ruthless for the greater good, or whether his actions are motivated purely by revenge.

Matías Novoa is Daniel Laborde, a young and attractive Federal Police officer who works in the force’s cyber intelligence department in northern Mexico.  Even though he has a desk job, Daniel insists on proving himself in the field due to a traumatic event he experienced when he was 19.  A man who seeks redemption at all cost, he joins a clandestine mission to infiltrate Las Dunas prison under the orders of Captain Alejandro Ferrer.  Little by little he will overcome his fears, and his experiences in the prison will radically transform him.

"Enemigo Íntimo" doesn't have a premiere date yet, but the Spanish-language network is already promoting the arrival of the series and people are excited to see Castillo once again. "Enemigo Íntimo" is the first project for Castillo following the death of Mónica Robles on "El Señor de los Cielos" Season 5 finale. "Five years ago I did a casting for a character that changed my career and life," she wrote after the death of her character in the Season 5 finale of the series. "Today I bid farewell to Mónica Robles with all the love and gratefulness that exist in my soul. Having to say goodbye has been one of the most sad processes I've lived through, but today I decide to stay with all the great things she gave me."
