Eva Longoria To Produce Show 'Pair Of Aces' Based On The Life Of Democrat Twins Julián And Joaquín Castro

Texas native Eva Longoria is set to produce a show, which will showcase the ins and outs of how to make it in politics in her home state, loosely based on the story featured in 2013 on Vogue magazine about rising politico brothers, Julián and Joaquín Castro. The show, “Pair of Aces” will revolve around the Reyes family where mother María, pulls the strings and pushes her sons, Chris and Alex who are best friends, rivals and twins. The melodrama is created and written by Meredith Lavender & Marcie Ulin from ABC’s “Nashville.”

Produced by Eva Longoria's UnbeliEVAble Entertainment and Conde Nast Entertainment the show promises to be rivetingly dramatic. This is not the first time Longoria pairs up with Conde Nast, as they teamed up last season to make “Glamour’s Real Deal” based on the magazines story, which sold to CBS. Also recently, UnbeliEVAble sold medical drama “Critical” to NBC.
