One of the most important things you can do in order to win your Fantasy Football league is stay on top of your waiver wire. Finding that gem player that no one else knows about can make the difference each and every week.
Here are five players you should consider signing for Week 7.
1. Spencer Ware
Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware is having one of the biggest break out years in the NFL. He has already eclipsed his career high for rushing yards in a single season, and with Jamaal Charles getting limited carries, Ware is a safe pickup for next week. To make things even better, Ware and the Chiefs take on the defenseless New Orleans Saints next week.
2. James White
Speaking of running backs, James White is starting to make some noise in New England. He had a pair of touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it’s his catching abilities that make him a great addition. White, who already has a career high in rushing yards this year, is a versatile back who can confuse defenses. Tom Brady knows he can count on White when his tight ends and wide receivers are covered.
3. Mike Wallace
Once upon a time Mike Wallace was the most feared deep ball receiver in the game. The last few years we haven’t exactly seen Wallace at his best, but he may have re-found himself in Baltimore with Joe Flacco. Wallace already has more receiving touchdowns than last year and just 100 less receiving yards than all of last season. Want some more good news? The Ravens take on the New York Jets next week. If you’re having wide receiver problems, go ahead and take a chance on Wallace.
4. Brandon LaFell
Brandon LaFell had his worst game of the season against his former team, the New England Patriots, in Week 6. LaFell isn’t a superstar wide receiver by any means, but he can be the difference maker in your league when you’re having position problems at wide out. LaFell and the Bengals take on the Cleveland Browns, who have the 26th ranked pass defense, next week.
5. Jay Ajayi
What an incredible performance by Jay Ajayi in Week 6. The 23-year-old running back out of London ran wild against the Pittsburgh Steelers for 204 yards in his last game. In all five games this season Ajayi’s rushing yards have increased. He’s got a big test next week against Rex Ryan’s Buffalo Bills, but you never know what’s going to happen in these AFC East matchups. Ajayi is owned by less than 40 percent of Fantasy Football owners. Better hurry up.
