Although there is no official release date yet, “Final Fantasy 16” will allegedly be the most stunning installment from Square Enix.

Little is known about the said game. However this early, it appears “Final Fantasy 16” will feature new characters joining old faces as well as new storylines.

Also, it is worth noting that for at least the first couple of months, “Final Fantasy 16” will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5.

“Final Fantasy 16” will be produced by Naoki Yoshida, the same one who directed “Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn.”

A trailer for the game was released by Square Enix titled “Awakening,” providing gamers a glimpse of the upcoming installment. There, it was seen how the game will revolve around the bodyguard of a special child, Joshua, who’s the son of an Archduke and seems to carry the spirit of a familiar summon or Eikon within his body.

Noticeable from the trailer that Joshua will lose control and lead a battle of epic proportions between Phoenix and Ifrit.

Among the characters to expect include Clive Rosfield, Joshua Rosfield, and Jill Warrick.

An official release date for “Final Fantasy 16” has yet to be announced but the needed information is likely to be released sometime in 2022. Unofficially, there is word going around that “Final Fantasy 16” could be out later this year or early 2023.

As far as what game consoles “Final Fantasy 16” will be available, it appears that it will be made exclusively on the PS5 for at least six months first before making its way on other platforms.

This means gamers expecting “Final Fantasy 16” on the PC or the Xbox will have to wait. As of this writing, the game developer has yet to reveal plans of seeing the game on other gaming platforms.
