Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez & Trey Songz, Ellie Goulding and Zendaya have jumped on board the "Finding Neverland: The Album" project. The five artists have joined already announced acts such as Nick Jonas, Rita Ora, John Legend and Jon Bon Jovi. The soundtrack is a companion production to the Broadway musical "Finding Neverland," which debuted April 15th. In the soundtrack, JLo and Trey Songz give life to the single "What You Mean To Me." Christina Aguilera sings "Anywhere But Here" and Ellie Goulding takes the reign of "When Your Feet Don’t Touch The Ground."
The album, according to Tom McKay, Republic’s exec vp-West Coast and general manager, is "about getting a chance to see some of the biggest names of music stepping outside of their normal lane and what we’re used to hearing from them,” he told Billboard. "Finding Neverland: The Album" will be released June 9 via Republic Records, with digital pre-orders on May 12. The Broadway musical is based on the 2004 J.M. Barrie biopic starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, adapted from the 1998 play "The Man Who Was Peter Pan."
