Micheal Jackson is still running things, even after his passing. According to Forbes, MJ is cashing out. In fact, he is the highest-paid dead celebrity this year, trumping his equally influential contempories Prince and Elvis.

This year, the King of Pop earned an incredible $825 million. If you recall, back in March, there was a sale of MJ's half of Sony/ATV Music's publishing, which includes The Beatles' collection that was already worth a whopping $750 million. Back in 1985, Jackson purchased their catalog for$47.5 million. So Michael's third eye was definitely strong back then, because it's safe to say that he got himself a steal with that purchase.

The creator of Peanuts, Charles Schulz, sits at the number two spot by earning $48 million, while Golf legend, Arnold Palmer, comes in at number three with $40 million, despite passing away recently in September. Prince also finds himself in the Top-5 with an impressive $25 million. The extra money he earned prior to his death earlier this year came courtesy of an increase in album sales.
