A former NFL player is in hot water after videos showing him manhandling his former girlfriend came out recently.

The ex-NFL player was identified as Zac Stacy, someone who played eight games for the New York Jets in 2015. In the disturbing video footage obtained by TMZ, the two were in an argument when the 30-year-old suddenly grabbed the woman by the shirt and then hurled her towards a TV set.

The incident happened on Saturday, Nov. 13, at the woman’s home in Florida at around 2:00 p.m. in the video it appears the whole thing may have been spurred by jealousy with the 30-year-old mentioning something about the woman being “destructive. “

Even after the TV fell on the woman, she still managed to try and calm Stacy down. It turned out to be a bad idea with the ex-NFL player ending up hurling objects towards the woman’s way.

The woman continued to beg for Stacy to stop and eventually left. The woman immediately called the police for help. She also sought a restraining order on Monday, Nov. 15, for her and her son.

"He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me," the woman wrote in the restraining order application,” the woman said in the restraining order application.

The woman went to the hospital to have her injuries treated. Per reports, suffered bumps and bruises as well as a possible cut to the head.

As of this writing, it has yet to be known if the judge granted the woman’s request for a restraining order. She fears her life, as stated in the application, with Stacy possibly returning to render more damage or worse on her.

Efforts were made by TMZ to reach out to Stacy and his attorney. No response has been made so far.
