Four People have been arrested in Los Angeles after allegedly attempting to interfere with an immigration enforcement raid in Van Nuys, authorities said.
Concretely, USBP Chief Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino said the people used improvised devices in order to "impede & obstruct our efforts" by disabling patrol vehicles.
Images shared by Bovino on social media show what appears to be a rubber strip with metal nails attached to it. Another picture shows damages to a tire, presumably from a Border Patrol vehicle.

CBS News detailed that the operation took place outside of a Home Depot on Balboa Place in Van Nuys. The outlet noted that agents could be seen outside of the store. It is unclear if any people were detained.
A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed the operation and said one of the four detainees was also arrested for assaulting a Border Patrol agent.
The incident comes days after another one involving immigration enforcement forces. In that case, people in black military-style clothing engaged in a shooting outside a Texas immigration center that ended up wounding a police officer.
The group began shooting fireworks, damaging cars and infrastructure, also writing "traitor" and "ICE pig" on the premises. Two unarmed officers came out to speak with the group, and a police officer also arrived later. He was subsequently shot by a person in the woods. The group then fled, but sheriff's deputies ended up stopping seven people. Overall, ten people have been arrested on attempted murder charges in connection with the case.
The outlet noted that a man with an assault rifle injured a police officer in McAllen, Texas, three days later. He ended up being killed by authorities.
