France confirmed its place as World Cup favorite on Monday and qualified to the quarterfinals after beating Nigeria 2-0 in the last 15 minutes of play. To celebrate the victory, French video digital agency Dan Paris has created a short video showing a rooster, the national symbol for the team, dancing a samba in honor of Le Bleu's triumph in Brazil. The hilarious video then shows the rooster exploding in its excitement! Check it out below.

With an own goal by Joseph Yobo, France beat Nigeria 2-0 and got its place in the quarterfinals, where it will face Germany on Thursday afternoon.  Although Nigeria played a good game in the first part of the meeting with a brilliant Emmanuel Emenike at the head. However, the French took control in the field and a goal from Paul Pogba after 79 minutes initiated the French victory, which was sealed after the Nigerian own goal from captain Joseph Yobo at 90 +1.

Although the French squad created a consistent attack with Oliver Giroud and Karim Benzema, the African squad used its speed to send passes to its strikers Peter Odemwingie and Emmanuel Emenike, who on more than one occasion found gaps in the defense of the Europeans. At the beginning of the meeting Ogenyi Onazi suffered a knee injury and had to receive medical attention. Ultimately the victory was France's - watch the rooster dance and say 'vive la France!'
