Did you know one fresh avocado provides nearly 20 vitamins and minerals? Did you know that adding nutrient-dense avocado to your smoothies instantly levels it up? Yes! Avocado is the fruit that keeps on giving!
Avocado is not in this world just to become guacamole, in fact, this large berry containing a single large seed and originated from south-central Mexico helps to boost the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, K and E to help provide the energy needed to tackle whatever the day throws. Not only that! Avocados also provide nutrients that are associated with overall skin health:
- 4% of the Daily Value of vitamin C, an antioxidant that promotes healing and aids in the health of skin, bones, and connective tissue.
- 6% of the Daily Value of niacin, a B vitamin that supports the digestive system, skin, and nerve function.
- 6% of the Daily Value for vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects against damage to the body’s cells and tissues.
