Gina Rodriguez is a social activist and is one of the many celebrities using their star power to help all those affected by the devastating hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. She joined the effort by Lin Manuel Miranda with the song "Almost Like Praying" with money generated from the sale of the song benefiting the victims. Rodriguez has a rap in the song that surprised all of her fans. She joins big celebrities like Rita Moreno, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, John Leguizamo, Ruben Blades and Fat Joe.

To bring awareness to the song the Latin star stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show where she busted out her salsa moves. She twirled, kicked, shook her booty and spun her hair like the best dancers on "Bailando Por Un Sueño". Maybe Televisa should give her a call for next season? "If we come together we are stronger than anything," she said during the interview. "All the participation from everybody means the world to me and everyone in Puerto Rico." Ellen added: "I have no connection to Puerto Rico other that they are human beings that are in need of help."

Ellen then put one of her producers on the spot and had Gina teach him how to dance. Andy needs a whole lot of help, but he was a good sport trying to dance.

The "Jane The Virgin" actress will soon be heard as the voice of the Virgin Mary in the animated film "The Star." The story is about a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.
