GTA V Veterans Day
Will a new Veterans Day DLC for "GTA 5" arrive on Nov. 11? Rockstar Games

Did you think that the "GTA 5" 1.17 update would finally be the long-awaited Heists DLC? We did too. However, according to rumors from "GTA 5" leaker DomisLive, the 1.17 update could be released as early as Sept. 11, in observance of Patriot Day, better known for the devastating World Trade Center terrorist attack.

According to DomisLive, Patriot Day stands out the most among all the holidays in September. If the new "GTA 5" DLC is true, then expect the update to feature new clothes and army uniforms to support the troops and the men that keep the world safe from terrorism. New military vehicles will also be welcomedThat said, DomisLive noted that it would be redundant, and of slightly bad taste, to introduce more violent weapons on a day that reminds us the reason we are at war today. That said, it would be great to see more vehicles available in the update.

As far as the "GTA 5" 1.17 update release date is concerned, DomisLive projects that possible dates include Sept. 16, 23, or 30. All three dates are on Tuesday, the traditional day of the week for big DLC releases. According to DomisLive, a DLC is no less than necessary this month as many GTA Online gamers are no longer playing the game as frequently due to a lack of fresh content. No doubt, a new DLC could revive interest and activity in "GTA 5."
