Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have reportedly been planning their wedding for months. And last week, the couple already sent out their save the date cards.
According to TMZ, Hailey and Justin’s bigger wedding ceremony in front of their family and friends will take place on Sept. 30 in South Carolina. But by the looks of it, the couple didn’t give Alec Baldwin an invitation yet.
While speaking with US Weekly, the 61-year-old actor was asked to comment on the rumored wedding of his niece and the “Baby” singer. He said that he didn’t know that their wedding was “now.”
“They keep everything under wraps,” Alec said. “I’m sure I’ll buy them something. I can’t imagine what they’ll need. I’d have to find out what they’re missing. There’s gotta be something that they’re missing,” he added.
The “Knots Landing” star also said that he thinks Bieber should perform at his own wedding. “I don’t see why not,” Alec said. “I mean, that’s what he’s known for. I wish he sang at my wedding,” he joked.
The “Saturday Night Live” star’s brother, Stephen Baldwin, happens to be the father of Justin’s wife. The “I Don’t Care” singer wouldn’t have been able to meet Hailey if not for her dad.
After all, the supermodel managed to forge ties with famous celebrities because her dad was famous as well. And it has now been revealed that her dad was the one who introduced her to her husband.
Justin first met his father-in-law when he performed on the “Today Show” in 2009. While at the lobby, Stephen introduced his daughter to Justin. A video of Hailey and Justin’s first meeting was also captured on camera.
Years later, Justin and Hailey crossed paths again, and they were able to forge a close friendship with each other. The two eventually dated, and they tied the knot last year at the New York City courthouse.
Next month, the couple will be tying the knot at a bigger ceremony. But as of late, their guests, entourage and wedding venue have not yet been announced.
