With the airing of the finale episode, the fans are now eagerly waiting to see what will happen in “The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 4. In a recent interview, cast member Kristen Gutoskie, who plays Beth on the show, revealed what the fans can expect as the story movies forward.

The following article contains spoilers from the finale episode of “The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 3.

Beth and June (Elisabeth Moss) set the stolen children free in the Season 2 finale. This action will have consequences in the next season.

In an interview with People, Gutoskie said that there will be “hell to pay” for what her character and June did in Season 3. As of this writing, none of the cast members have been told what happens next on the show, and Gutoskie said that they have all been “left in limbo.”

Although Gutoskie hasn’t been told what happens next, she has her own theories. The actress said that she would like to see all the good characters to come together in a secret place and rebel in “The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 4. The only concern the actress has is that the worst case scenario for these rebelling characters is that they will get caught.

One big mystery that the fans will be eager to know about in the next season has to do with Hannah (Jordana Blake), Screen Rant reported. The character was not among the freed children, which means she will come back in Season 4, if she is still alive.

The main plot in the next season could be about the search for and the rescue of Hannah. June still believes that Hannah is still alive, and she may take it on herself to send her to Canada when she finds her.

“The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 4 will air sometime next year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
