Things are turning to get a lot eventful than expected with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry -- as the latter loses his military titles apart from them collectively losing royal patronages. The announcement from Buckingham Palace came shortly after Meghan and Harry spilled the beans about their upcoming TV appearance with Oprah Winfrey that’s slated to air on March 7 on CBS.

Speculations are rife that the couple may now “have to re-shoot” their explosive tell-all TV as the parts of the interview may now seem obsolete.

“When the Duke and Duchess spoke, it was never envisaged they would have their patronages taken away,” said an inside source, per The Sun. “They didn’t see it coming and spoke as they still had roles to play,” added the source.

Now, that Meghan and Harry are officially off the royal radar, the content might need a bit of tweak too.

“Now, however, other than their titles, they are to have no role in royal life – a point producers know was not discussed when Winfrey spoke to them,” the source continued, further enthusing, “Neither the Sussexes nor the TV crew saw the fallout of their interview leading to this. Harry and Meghan thought they would retain their roles. But things have significantly changed for them since they eagerly sat for [Oprah] Winfrey and poured their hearts out.”

The interview happened last Tuesday, the day Harry’s grandfather the 99-year-old Prince Philip was admitted to a hospital after complaining of feeling unwell. The entire filming of the show happened over the course of two days in the Californian address where the Sussexes are neighbors of the iconic American. talk show host.

It is believed that the members of Buckingham Palace are bracing themselves for the explosive interview, with there being a strong possibility of Meghan dropping distasteful disclosures about the treatment meted out to her after marrying into the royal family in 2018.

“One only has to look at the previous installments of the tell-all interview to know these things never end up with a wholly positive experience for any party,” a source told the Mirror hinting at the risk looming over Meghan and Harry ever since they decided to go ahead with a tell-all interview.

“Everyone will be watching with intense interest," the source added.
