Jennifer Aniston is rumored to be demanding $20 million just to star in a “Friends” reunion. There are also rumors that her co-stars are demanding the same amount.

According to Heat, the cast of “Friends” have been in secret talks with Warner Bros. to return for a reunion. However, it is possible that the project won’t push through because the entire cast is demanding enormous fees.

“They already make a lot from the reruns, plus they got a huge bonus last year from Netflix,” the source said. “But they’re still not budging until they get $20 million each — something that reflects how big the project would be,” the source added.

But according to Gossip Cop, the claims of the unnamed source couldn’t be true. After all, a “Friends” reunion hasn’t been announced just yet. Rumors just swirled that Jennifer Aniston could reunite with her former co-stars after she told Ellen DeGeneres that she’s open to the possibility of having a reunion episode.

“I told you this, I would do it, the girls would do it, and the boys, would do it, I’m sure,” Aniston said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “Anything could happen,” she added.

But during her interview with Extra, Aniston clarified that a “Friends” reunion hasn’t been confirmed yet. “That was something that I just felt like saying a different answer because the question will not stop coming,” she said. “No one got mad at me.”

Mart Kauffman, co-creator of “Friends” also told Associated Press that a reunion won’t take place. “Why mess up a good thing?” she said. “We wouldn’t want a reunion to disappoint fans,” she added.

According to Gossip Cop, they also checked with multiple sources close to the situation and found out that talks of a reboot also remain hypothetical. A “Friends” reunion has never been in development, so it can’t be stalled by outrageous salary demands.

“Friends” is an American sitcom that first aired on NBC on Sept. 22, 1994. After 10 years of being on air, the sitcom ended with its final episode, which aired on May 6, 2004.
