Jennifer Lopez’s impending marriage to beau Alex Rodriguez has been a popular topic for tabloid gossip. While it’s clear that the COVID-19 outbreak has played a bummer to her wedding plans, it’s ridiculous for the grapevine to suggest that things are headed down south for the power couple. We have compiled a volley of dubious allegations about the couple supposed “rough patch” -- that couldn’t be further from the truth.

1) The Golden Globe grief was too much for J.Lo to bear: The pandemic might have played a spoiler, but rumor mills are abuzz that the real cause of postponing the wedding was J.Lo’s meltdown – she couldn’t bear the loss of the award to Laura Dern. So much so, it drove her to push A-Rod away, and cancel their wedding. Aside from there being no logical reasoning, what needs to be noted is the sheer absurdity on the part of the tabloid to assume the iconic singer to take such a drastic step over an award loss. Furthermore, a supportive post by the man himself made one thing clear: J.Lo and Rodrigues are NOT splitting up.

2) The quarantine phase is rather scary for the two: Let’s be honest: Nobody likes being locked up indoors for such extended periods of time. Perhaps, it’s a little different for J.lo and her hubby-to-be. “In Touch” recently ran a report that suggested how things are not looking up for the couple, as they seem to have entirely different schedules – A.Rod is “either working out or watching tv, while J.Lo is busy with the kids” suggests the report. The questionable source that states these things in the report conveniently overlooks the reality: which appears far from monstrous on social media. Moreover, Gossip Cop checked with sources close to the couple that has rubbished rumors about the growing gap.

3) Baby over marriage? Well, that’s what another baseless report suggests. There has been a buzz doing the rounds that a secret pregnancy is on the cards for J.Lo. Suggesting the same, “Heat” ran a rather racy headline titled, “forget the wedding, we’re having a baby!” As per a “reliable” source in the report, “kids were one of the first things they discussed when they started dating” and now is “the perfect time to add to their family.”

While the rumor amassed widespread intrigue, it didn’t take long for Gossip Cop to bust this story. Lopez set the record straight when she appeared on The Today Show and said “there’s no planning right now.” That clears any doubts about the diva popping babies anytime soon.
